Posted by STRIDE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT LTD.

We've been appointed on a genuinely niche opportunity for someone experienced in insurance site surveys and H&S risk management. In this role, you'll conduct site surveys, gather and assess risk information, and provide essential risk management services. These services include health and safety evaluations and fire risk assessments.

You'll be part of an established, highly skilled team, working closely with Insolvency Practitioners, Property Receivers and Surveyors who specialise in distressed properties. Your role will be to act as the bridge between clients and broking teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys aligned with strategic goals to ensure successful client outcomes.
  • Fire Risk Assessments: Perform fire risk assessments in line with RRFSO and other relevant legislation.
  • Health & Safety Evaluations: Carry out health and safety evaluations.
  • Risk Management Advice: Provide on-site and remote risk management advice and guidance.
  • Documentation: Deliver comprehensive client and broking documents according to KPIs and SLAs.
  • Reporting: Identify crucial risk information and deliver compliant reports to insurers and clients.
  • Case Support: Provide assessments and site survey reports to help Case Managers progress cases.
  • Insurance Planning: Assist in planning the most appropriate insurance programme to meet client needs.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurer partner Surveyors.

To be considered, you'll be personable, approachable and client focussed with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You'll be able to manage your own diary, be efficient at time management and be able to prioritise in a fast moving environment. As expected, you'll have professional qualifications such as NEBOSH, IFE/IFSM and perhaps CII. It would also be advantageous if you have commercial insurance knowledge from working with an insurer, broker or intermediary.

You will gain exposure to a wide range of businesses and premises, ensuring that no two surveys are the same. This firm is dedicated to supporting professional development through training and qualifications, helping you to excel in your role. Additionally, there are opportunities to influence work processes, contributing to ongoing improvements and service enhancements.

In return, you'll receive a competitive salary reflective of your qualifications and experience, up to £75,000, plus a car allowance and comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to enhanced pensions, life assurance and private medical cover, as well as 25 days holiday with the option to buy additional days.

This is a working from home opportunity, where you will spend typically 3 days on site and 2 days at home. To complement the existing team, you will mainly cover Bristol, Slough, Reading and the south coast, so you will reside within this area.
