We are seeking an Exams Manager to oversee the administration and organisation of both internal and external examinations within our educational institution. This role is crucial for ensuring that examinations are conducted smoothly and fairly, providing a reliable assessment environment for students.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Examination Administration: Manage the entire examination process, including entries, scheduling, and coordination with examination boards. Ensure the secure storage and handling of examination papers in compliance with regulations.
  • Coordination and Communication: Liaise with teaching staff, students, and parents to disseminate information about exams. Address queries and complaints related to examinations.
  • Invigilation Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of exam invigilators. Create and manage invigilation timetables to ensure adequate coverage for all exams.
  • Compliance and Integrity: Ensure all examination processes comply with relevant regulations and standards. Maintain the integrity and security of the examination process.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Analyze and report on examination results to stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of examination entries and results.
  • Special Arrangements: Make provisions for students with special requirements or examination clashes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Typically, a degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in examination management or a similar administrative role.
  • Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
