We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chemistry Teacher to join our exceptional science department.

Role Overview:

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that ignite students' passion for chemistry and the sciences. You will create an engaging and stimulating learning environment, helping students develop their understanding of chemical principles and their applications. This role requires a dynamic and innovative educator who can inspire students at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding Chemistry lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives and the latest educational standards.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students, catering to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic growth and understanding.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the science department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level, with a track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of the Chemistry curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
