Marketing Assistant

An established company who continues to grow are currently looking for a creative and dynamic Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Assistant role involves reporting directly to the Brand and Communications Director and becoming their right-hand person regarding all things marketing. Duties include being responsible for coordinating creative projects, new launches, social media, pricing, promotions and reporting on the success of marketing campaigns.

Marketing Assistant responsibilities:

  • Playing a pivotal role in bringing the brand vision to life through coordinating marketing projects and delivering campaigns
  • Coordinating the delivery of creative projects including weekly email, web assets, digital screens, web landing pages, signage, photography, ticketing & labelling, print and digital magazines and leaflets
  • Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of new product launches from arranging sample delivery and studio timings, agreeing the set design for lifestyle and product photography. You will receive, approve, file, and amplify assets to our PR and asset library and digital teams. You will also select and supply resized photos for our SEO content articles
  • Coordinating the media and creative for store launches from media briefings, setting objectives, budget and track desired outcomes and performance
  • Planning all aspects of creative asset production needed for local advertising and ensure timely delivery of digital screens, radio, PR, social media, and influencer projects
  • Harvesting UGC, contacting users for permissions and higher resolution shots and coordinating influencer projects
  • Ensuring all projects have purchase orders raised, are tracked using Excel and Trello and finished projects are launched or handed over to the stakeholder then logically filed
  • Providing marketing project management to support in areas such as pricing & promotions, PR, social campaigns, and larger campaigns such as TV and VOD, sponsorships, in store music, recordings, media and production
  • Delivering on point assets, aiming for 'first time' sign off from the Brand & Communications Director
  • Managing budgets, administration systems and processes
  • Occasionally updating the marketing alignment and content planner to coordinate seasonal creative and messaging

Marketing Assistant skills/competencies:

  • Adobe software knowledge - creative suite, InDesign, photoshop and illustrator
  • Minimum 6 months marketing experience
  • Highly organised, proactive and forward thinking
