Assistant Financial Accountant | £32,000 - £35,000| Permanent | Manchester :
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Social Enterprise in Greater Manchester to recruit a Assistant Financial Accountant to their busy team. The role is offered on a permanent basis, the role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements as well as a great benefits package.
Duties:
- Accounting for all relevant taxes including VAT, CIS and Corporation Tax accurately and submitting returns
- Providing financial information to assist with producing annual financial statements
- Liaising with external tax advisors and auditors
- Producing balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow reports and ensuring compliance
- Setting up and amending direct debits and service charge accounts
Experience:
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Experience of working the end-to-end financial processes -
VAT and cashflow knowledge is essential
- ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA part qualified or AAT qualified – Public Sector experience is highly desirable
