Management Accountant – Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire – Top 100 Firm

Are you a Management Accountant seeking a step up at a Top 100 Firm based in Buckinghamshire

Management Accountant responsibilities include:

  • Oversee/carry out bookkeeping and data processing using accounting systems of the client or appropriate accounting system.
  • Oversee management of purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal ledgers as well as carry out regular reconciliation of all control accounts.
  • Oversee/calculate and process monthly journals for prepayment/ accruals/depreciation/payroll and other monthly adjustments.
  • Oversee/prepare VAT returns in advance of deadline for review and sign off.
  • Complete monthly/quarterly reporting pack including P& L, B/S, budgets and actual, debtors/creditors aging analysis, cashflow and commentary.

As a Management Accountant, you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • Have experience of reviewing management accounts and complex bookkeeping assignments
  • Demonstrate the ability to supervise a small team
  • Preferably have working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
  • Have experience of onboarding new clients including preparing proposals and providing training
  • Ideally have strong knowledge of the range of cloud accounting software and associated Apps
