Tax Supervisor

Seeking a Tax Supervisor to join our client's team at the firm's Watford office. This is a well-established, multi-office accountancy practice that offers its clients audit, accounts, tax and advisory services.

The firm will offer the Tax Supervisor a competitive salary, depending upon experience, a good benefits package and hybrid working once settled into the role.

Reporting to the Tax Manager, your Tax Supervisor duties will include:

  • Management of own client portfolio
  • Personal, corporate, partnership and trust Tax Returns preparation and filing in a timely manner to meet deadlines
  • Working closely with the Tax Partners
  • Supervising more junior members of the tax team
  • Drafting responses to HMRC correspondence and enquiry notices
  • Ad hoc duties as necessary

  • Ideally be qualified or working towards the qualification with good experience
  • Have considerable mixed tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of clients
  • Excellent communicate skills
  • Good interpersonal skill to communicate clearly and politely with clients and colleagues
  • Good general IT skills, tax and accounting software experience and a good technical ability
  • Be a team player and have the ability to manage and nurture junior team members
