About the role:

We are looking for a full time, office based, accounts assistant.

Your tasks

  • Producing weekly sales invoices and posting purchase invoices
  • Handling client questions and queries by liaising with both the client services manager, operations and transport departments
  • Reconcile and file chronologically manpower hours
  • Processing bi-weekly payment run
  • Matching invoices to timesheets, and making any deductions necessary
  • Bank payments
  • Sourcing information from all department in order to raise invoices.
  • Weekly and monthly reports are to be produced checked and information posted to sage

Required skills and qualifications

  • Applicant must be proficient in sage50
  • Understanding of accounting procedures, i.e. nominal codes, raising credit notes, producing statements and allocating payments

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • A high level of attention to detail is required
  • ACA Qualification would be an advantage
