A well established, independent, small software house in the centre of Sheffield (S1) is seeking a Graduate / Junior Software Developer to join an established experienced team of professionals.

About the Role

The company work mainly with Microsoft technologies - C#, Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server (The company is a Microsoft Certified). The job involves development on new client systems, and enhancements/maintenance of existing client systems. The candidate will be working both individually as well as part of a small development team.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Key skills required should include some/all of .NET Core MVC, ASP.NET 4 MVC, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Transact SQL, SQL Server
  • Additional advantageous skills include Telerik/Kendo MVC controls, Bootstrap, Angular, Xamarin, JQuery, TypeScript
  • The candidate must demonstrate good communication skills as daily client interaction is necessary
  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • The candidate should ideally be a graduate with a software related degree

Note: Relevant training is available if needed for additional technologies.

Salary, Benefits & Other Details:

  • Starting salary is £25k, but will rise to approx. £50k+ when fully experienced
  • The role is split between the office (so the ideal candidate will live within commutable distance) and remote working (2 days a week)
