The role of business manager is to provide end to end operational and management assistance to each Chief Information Officer (CIO) responsible for delivery targets of each technology domain.

Your key responsibilities

  • Budgeting and planning technology costs and allocations. Primary focus on project management system used for financial forecasting of project deliveries using tools viz. dbClarity
  • Running monthly portfolio (programme & project) reviews with programme directors and monitor milestones and deliveries to aid the Tech chief information officers and business product owners how are tech plans are being met to meet our client needs
  • Driving workforce strategy for the business from internal and external workforce standpoint, setting up hiring controls and drive location strategy by ensuring global support to client by having workforce working in different time zones covering the globe
  • Responsibility of managing relationships with vendors, right-sizing vendor footprint and driving cost negotiations to provide accurate and timely delivery but at a reasonable cost to the business and the bank
  • Responsibility for preparing technology performance and achievements deck for meetings with senior technology management, business, clients and regulators

Your skills and experience

  • Postgraduate with a specialisation in Finance or Business Management (or similar qualification)
  • Have a liking and passion for technology and business strategy
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact confidently across all levels of organisation
  • Well organised, able to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Creative, self-starter and interest to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
