Role - Commercial Property Surveyor
Location - Birmingham
Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Property Management Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of our property portfolio, ensuring efficient operation and maximising asset value.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition and identify maintenance needs.
- Develop and implement property management plans to optimise asset performance and maximise rental income.
- Negotiate lease agreements and liaise with tenants to address their needs and concerns.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective property maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor property budgets and expenses and provide regular reports to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in property management, with a focus on commercial or residential real estate.
- Strong knowledge of property laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and work effectively under pressure.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is preferred but not required.
