Risk & Compliance Manager (Fixed-Term Contract: 6-12 months) Term: Contract

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading British firm in their search for a Risk and Compliance Manager for a fixed term contract.
The Risk & Compliance team has grown substantially in the last few years and is looking to build upon its existing skills and expertise.
Over the coming 6-12 months, there are several large internal projects which will require a substantial time commitment for the current Head of Risk & Compliance. The purpose of this role therefore is to provide additional capacity and resource to the Head of Risk & Compliance to deal with day-to-day queries.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience working at senior level in risk and compliance, ideally within a law firm. A lot of the role will be lifting of day to day work, helping with escalations from the team.
- Previous managerial experience required, as there will be some element of daily management.
- Strong legal experience with SRA, conflict checks and AML queries.
- Excellent stakeholders management skills.
- Experience of document management system and client/matter inception software is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to work from the London office 2 days a week.
