Looking for a Storeman for a family run business, this position is TEMP - PERM paying an equivalent annual salary of £30,000. Working hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm or alternatively 9:00am - 6:00pm.
Weekend overtime available subject to demand.
Capability test will be taken prior to interview.
Duties:
- Receive, check, and record incoming goods
- Organise, maintain and keep stock inventory within the warehouse
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of stock records in the inventory management system
- Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve goods
- Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring safe handling to prevent damage
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently and prepare goods for despatch, including labelling, packaging, and documentation
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe. Following all health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a storeman or in a similar warehouse role
- Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment with valid forklift licence/certification
- Physically fit
- Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
- PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
