Description
- Assisting in the preparation and coordination of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Carrying out detailed financial analysis and providing recommendations based on findings.
- Reporting on financial performance and preparing for regular leadership reviews.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Assisting in the management of the company's tax and VAT affairs.
- Assisting in the development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning as required.
- Collaborating with other departments, providing financial guidance and support.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- AAT Qualifications
- Expertise in a similar role within the not for profit and charities sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
