Profile

The Managing Director will play a pivotal role in controlling and overseeing all facets of operations, people, and projects, ensuring the overall success of the business. This leadership position requires a seasoned strategist capable of aligning the company with its vision, mission, and long-term goals. The MD will drive operational efficiencies, enhance the quality of services and solutions, and strengthen the business's EBITDA.

Our client is enforcement services organisation, the MD will expand existing operations and explore opportunities for new business functions, whether through organic growth or strategic acquisitions. This role is crucial for navigating a transformative period and ensuring sustained success in an evolving business landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Maintain and monitor budgets to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Performance Management: Guide and maintain the performance of the company, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Leadership: Supervise executives and managers, providing leadership and motivation as required.
  • Strategic Planning: Prepare long-term and short-term goals and company objectives.
  • Business Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team to achieve company objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Optimise processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure service quality across a field-based business.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity, utilising automation and AI technologies.
  • Sales and Marketing: Take a hands-on approach to sales and marketing efforts, employing innovative strategies to increase market share and revenue.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • Experience of working with public sector organisations and related contractual agreements.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex business environments, with a focus on fostering a culture of innovation and performance improvement.
  • Ability to make strategic recommendations based on market trends.
  • Strong financial management skills with the ability to analyse financial data.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading field teams to successful outcomes.
  • Highly skilled at analysing data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Experience in field services sector or related industries is desirable.
  • Ability to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
