Randstad Tuition Services are currently recruiting for experienced SEN/SEMH Primary Tutors who are experienced in planning and delivering education for young people in Nottingham
This SEN/SEMHprimary tutor role will be a great fit for someone who is a qualified teacher (QTS), confident teaching KS1 and KS2 English and Maths, and are looking for flexible work.
The location of this role is based in Nottingham, but more specifically will be based on a pre - agreed location (either at their local home, school or community venue).
The Primary Tutor role involves:
- Working with children in a 1:1 format at their homes or local area (public library).
- Planning resources around the child's needs - could be English and Maths or educational learning through play.
- Skills to keep the child engaged.
- Managing and implementing a range of behavior management techniques.
- Establishing and building a rapport with the child.
What we are looking for in a Primary Tutor:
- SEMH and/ or SEN experience.
- Experience working with children with challenging behavior.
- Must be able to deliver face to face support.
- Able to plan and deliver engaging core academic sessions, tailored to the pupil's learning level.
- Assessing and track the pupils progress to achieve their desired learning outcomes and provide feedback.
- DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not necessary
- Driving License is desirable but not necessary
Pay Rate: Starting from £25 per hour, can increase depending on the nature of the role.
