Role: GCSE and Functional Skills English Lecturer

Type: Full-time
Rate of pay: £200 - £230 per day
Eden Brown are seeking a dedicated and experienced English GCSE and Functional Skills teacher to for resit students at an FE College in Cheshire. This is a full-time role until at least Christmas.
Additional responsibilities as outlined below:
- Deliver high-quality instruction to GCSE and Functional Skills resit students
- Assist with student enrolment, including evening sessions as needed
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development
- Support students with low ability and low confidence, ensuring an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
- Manage administrative tasks efficiently and use technology effectively in the classroom
The suitable candidate will have:
- A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching English to GCSE Level and also knowledge of Functional Skills plus the relevant teaching experience.
- Strong administrative and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
- Proficient with technology and capable of adapting to a busy and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to support and engage students with varying levels of ability and confidence
