I am working on a really exciting Financial Analyst role in a top London based, international law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has started their career in finance and is looking to make a move into a role like this. They are looking for somebody who is eager to learn, develop and work collaboratively in a team.
As the Financial Analyst the main duties and responsibilities for the role are as follows:
- Supporting the Senior Financial Analyst in the production of weekly/monthly reporting.
- Assistance in the maintenance of financial data within the firm's financial system.
- Providing administrative support for the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Providing support to the Head of Group Accountants and Group Accountant with ad hoc reporting requests
- Supporting wider projects and initiatives led by Global Finance team designed to enhance financial performance of the firm.
To be successful in this Financial Analyst role you must -
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
- Working knowledge of Aderant desired but not required.
- Working knowledge of SQL desired but not required.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to use own initiative and a proactive attitude.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work produced
- Team player and flexible with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distil financial information to colleagues in other departments of the business.
- Ideally the candidate will have experience of working within a legal/professional services environment.
