Successful, award-winning Cheltenham-based SME seeks to recruit an experienced Interim Financial Controller for a minimum period of 4 months to conduct a hand-over (c1 month) with the outgoing FC, and hold the fort as a permanent replacement is recruited.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your core hands-on role will be varied as you'd expect; from the production and analysis of monthly management accounts & cashflow forecasting to managing a small but capable team who are responsible for the ledgers and payroll input. And you will be in situ at year-end too so a good hand-over is key.
We seek a (highly likely) qualified, technically strong, capable people manager. Someone who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and get involved in the detail. And a relationship builder too. Not much to ask!
Some WFH scope, although certainly initially it'd make sense to be largely office-based to best conduct a successful handover.
Early-mid November start required.
