**About the Role
As a KS5 Social Sciences Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across multiple subjects within the Social Sciences field, inspiring and supporting students in their academic and personal development. You will play a vital role in helping students succeed in their A-Level and BTEC qualifications, preparing them for further education or career paths in psychology, sociology, health and social care, and child development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, and Child Development.
- Supporting and assessing students in their academic progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Developing resources and schemes of work tailored to the curriculum.
- Engaging with students, colleagues, and parents to create a positive and dynamic learning environment.
- Preparing students for exams and assessments, ensuring they meet or exceed their target grades.
**What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience teaching at Key Stage 5.
- Demonstrable experience delivering A-Level and BTEC courses in Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, and Child Development.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 5 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- A proactive and adaptable teaching style with the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for Social Sciences and a commitment to supporting student success.
