About the role
As a Key Worker Co-ordinator, you will lead a team dedicated to providing high-quality tenancy and estate management services, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents. You will oversee critical functions such as maximising income, allocations, complaints, and repairs to ensure an exceptional customer service. You'll also monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and support rent-setting in collaboration with the Finance team, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to regulations. As a line manager, you will conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and facilitate team training and development with the support of Human Resources, promoting a safe, compliant, and customer-focused work environment.
About you
The ideal candidate for the Key Worker Co-ordinator role will bring hands-on experience in key areas of accommodation or housing management, particularly in lettings, rent collection, budgeting, and managing contractor relationships for services like cleaning and repairs. Proven experience in leading, motivating, and managing a team is essential, as is a strong understanding of housing management legislation and people management. You will need to be highly organised with a keen attention to detail, able to stay calm under pressure and resolve potentially challenging situations professionally. Strong customer focus is critical, both for external and internal interactions. Experience in social housing is also an advantage.
