Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming primary school in Barking and Dagenham. This part-time role offers a unique schedule, with full days on Monday and Tuesday, and half days on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to nursery-aged children.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging and educational activities.
- Monitor and record children's progress and development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Support children with their personal, social, and emotional development.
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the children at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar early years role.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
