We are seeking a diligent Finance Officer to join a Transport & Distribution business. This temporary role is based in Glasgow and involves executing key financial tasks and collaborating closely with the Accounting & Finance department.

Description
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets & forecasts
- Assisting the Finance Business Partners in preparation for balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing records and receipts
- Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of organisational products and processes
- Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
- Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
- Experience in a management accounting role
- Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- A keen eye for detail
Job Offer
- Salary of £32,559 pa
- 35 hours per week
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
- 3 month contract with possibility of extension
