We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead a team within the Engineering & Manufacturing department in our Energy sector. The successful candidate will be a key player in maintaining and enhancing the company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

Description

  • Leading the SHEQ team and managing all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality aspects within the company.
  • Implementing and maintaining SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Providing SHEQ training and awareness programmes to staff.
  • Managing incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinating with external auditors and authorities as required.
  • Monitoring and reporting on SHEQ performance and metrics.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the SHEQ area.

Profile

A successful SHEQ Manager should have:

  • A recognised qualification in Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or Quality Assurance.
  • Proven experience in a similar SHEQ leadership role within the Business Services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and ISO standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ability to commit to travel to other company sites around the UK on a planned basis.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary in the range of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus a £4,800 car allowance.
