Job Summary
Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large manufacturing organisation in the Glasgow area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Adviser to join their team. They provide an excellent working environment, great flexible hours of work and great benefits!
Key Duties/Tasks:
- Technical skills including Payroll System experience & excel skills
- Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers
- Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns
- Must have very strong Excel (VLookUps/Pivot Tables/Conditionally formatting/formulas)
- High volume, fast paced
- Delve into International Payroll
- Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
- Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Reconciliations.
- Some manual calculations, but mostly automated processing
- Experience of T & A system will be useful
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Some years of payroll experience
- Previous payroll experience in a fast paced and high-volume environment is ideal
- A keen eye for detail
- Enjoy working within a team
- Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries
- Confident with Excel
- CIPP advantageous not essential

Normal working hours are 36.25 hours per week, 8:45am to 5.00pm with 1-hour unpaid break.
