Role Overview for a Teaching Assistant
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support teachers, work with students individually or in groups, and assist students with special educational needs. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, adaptable, and eager to support students in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant
- Help with lesson delivery and resource setup.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to help students engage and succeed.
- Work with students on IEPs, fostering their development.
- Build positive relationships to support students' social and emotional growth.
Requirements for a Teaching Assistant
- Prior experience in education is a plus but not essential.
- GCSEs in English and Maths, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding.
