About Us:

We compete at the highest levels of football on a global stage whilst keeping our Sussex community spirit. Our vision is to be a top ten Premier League club and a top four Women's Super League club. A commitment to high performance, high professional standards and making a difference is at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibility for collecting and dropping off our players in and around Sussex

We are hiring for a pool of minibus drivers to safely transport our academy players to their training session at our training ground in Lancing. Once training has finished, you will then be responsible for driving the players back to their homes and then back to the training ground once more, to return the minibus. You will safely operate the vehicle according to the club's transport policy and ensure it is always kept in a safe and clean condition.

This role would mainly involve working a split shift so we are looking for candidates who can be flexible to meet the requirements of the position and the business.

What are we looking for

The successful Minibus Driver candidates will have previous experience of driving a 9-seater vehicle, transporting school age children. You will understand the importance of safeguarding policies and procedures and how these relate to a minibus driver role in a football environment.

It is essential that you hold a full, clean and valid driving licence ideally with a non-restricted D1 category authorisation. In order to drive our 17+ seater buses, you will be required to hold a DCPC qualification card, this is not essential but would be ideal!

Our values play a pivotal role in our success

Our values are not just a list of words we expect our colleagues to learn, but a set of filters through which we deliver to each other, our fans, our partners and our sponsors. As a team we live and breathe these values.

Our values are:

  • Treat People Well
  • Exceed Expectations
  • Aim High. Never Give Up
  • Act with Integrity
  • Make it Special

Our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

Our core values mean that we have a strong ethical culture which allows us to meet the needs of our diverse audience, both on and off the pitch. We encourage applications from individuals regardless of their age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnership. If you require any reasonable adjustments to support your application, do not hesitate to get in touch with our People and Culture team.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk. We expect all colleagues and volunteers to share this commitment.
