**Role Summary:

Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, the Systems Accountant - Revenue will be responsible for managing the finance system integrations ensuring revenue is accurately reported.

Key areas for the role:

  • Oversight of finance integrations for sales systems, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Collaborate with IT and business owners to resolve issues promptly with an initiative-taking approach.
  • Provide accurate & timely financial information to stakeholders for the Group.
  • Support the Finance Systems Manager to create a culture of continuous improvement to ensure efficient and accurate data in-line with internal and external controls.

**Key

responsibilities:

  • Ensure precise, accurate reporting of revenue (gross and net) and associated direct costs in line with IFRS & local GAAP reporting requirements for all group tour operating companies in the Group
  • Partner with the FP&A team to drive accuracy and transparency of revenue reporting data.
  • Maintain an optimal data integration between the sales systems, ensuring technical revenue compliance.
  • The key contact between sales, operations, and finance teams to facilitate communication and alignment on revenue-related matters.
  • Oversee Master Data Management process in the sales systems to ensure accurate mapping of new products, old products, and VAT.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations with accurate back-up monthly.
  • Conduct VAT reconciliations between sales systems and MS Dynamics.
  • Assess the effectiveness of current financial systems and propose enhancement strategies.
  • Support the Finance Systems Manager to build revenue related policies and procedure manuals.
  • Assisting in the external audit process.
  • Any other duties and ad-hoc as requested by the Finance Systems Manager

**About You:

  • 2+ years' experience in similar roles
  • Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Power BI experience - beneficial
  • Strong financial & IFRS revenue recognition experience preferably within a global organisation.
  • Strong IT experience including system integrations.
  • Ability to analyse and report large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written), and with a team focus.
  • You will work effectively and collaboratively across multiple finance teams/departments.
  • Ability to organise/prioritise work in and around deadlines, workloads, and conflicting priorities.
  • Bring a positive, enthusiastic, and 'can-do' attitude to work.
