On offer is the opportunity to work within an award-winning machinery and service provider who are growing their company size by taking on multiple new employees. This company has been operating for 75 years and is looking to grow turnover and headcount rapidly in the upcoming years.
In this role, you will be responsible for chasing overdue accounts via phone, letter, and email for designated depots, opening new accounts, and running credit check reports on individuals and companies. You will generate query lists for depots, take credit card payments, and provide holiday cover as needed. Additionally, you will send copy invoices upon request, liaise with depots to resolve customer queries, and provide support at month-end.
This role would suit a Credit Controller or similar looking for the opportunity to join a growing company who give the chance to progress into a management position by putting you through training and the learning and development.
The Role:
- Chase overdue accounts via phone, letter, and email for designated depots, and open new accounts
- Run credit check reports on individuals and companies, generate query lists for depots, and take credit card payments
- Provide holiday cover, send copy invoices as required, and liaise with depots to resolve customer queries
- Offer support at month-end and ensure smooth operations during the financial close
The Person:
- 2 years + Credit Controller or similar
- Commutable to Wallingford
