RG consultancy are pleased to be working with a well established company based in central Manchester, our client are looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant who is looking to do a varied hands on position. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress within finance and develop new skills working closely with a qualified accountant.
Duties:
- Bank reconciliations and post to accounting software
- Purchase ledger; processing invoices and matching
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT returns
- CIS returns
- Support with month end duties such as accruals and prepayments
- Assist with the preparation and production of timely monthly management information
- Help with preparation and monitoring of budgets
- Other ad-hoc duties
