A specialist school in Oxfordshire has an opportunity for a pro-active candidate to join their team as a Behaviour Management Assistant. They are looking for someone to work on a 1-1 basis with students that face behaviour challenges and benefit from consistent support throughout the school day. The Behaviour Management Assistant will collaborate with class teachers and on-site professionals in order to provide students with the best care. The responsibilities will range from facilitating therapeutic techniques to providing students with a safe space to express themselves. You will identify areas of improvement and potential trigger areas and help students learn independence.

As a Behaviour Management Assistant you will receive guidance from occupational therapists, safeguarding officers and psychologists working in the school, making this an amazing opportunity for graduates looking to get their foot in the door. The school have bespoke, purpose built facilities and a strong community feel. The curriculum is diverse and versatile, encouraging independent investigation and problem solving in order to prepare the students and teach functional skills.
