Forklift Driver

- Salary: £14 per hour
- Job Type: Temporary (till the end of Sept)
- Working Hours: Shift 1 is 6am to 6pm
Shift 2 is 6pm to 6am
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Forklift Driver with a valid Counterbalance licence to join our team. This role involves key responsibilities such as loading and unloading lorries, maintaining the cleanliness of the plant, and conducting product inspections.
Day to Day of the role:
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload lorries as part of the logistics process.
- Perform cleaning duties to ensure the plant is maintained to high standards at the end of production.
- Carry out weighing and inspection of products to maintain quality control.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times within the warehouse environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
- Experience with Telescopic plus MEWP would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution centre.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work the designated shift pattern.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
