THE GIG

Based at our Made In England (MIE) factory in Wollaston, Northamptonshire, birthplace of the iconic Dr Martens brand, the Logistics Supervisor will be instrumental in driving the seamless flow of materials. You'll ensure timely customer delivery while championing resource efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. As our

MIE Logistics Supervisor,

you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring a team across Warehouse, Dispatch, and internal Transport functions, fostering skill development and multi-skilling.
  • Overseeing all non-production movements, from Goods In to Dispatch, optimising stock rotation and timely supply to production and external partners.
  • Managing D365 system accuracy, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract position. THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Put simply, for this role the key things we're looking for are:

  • Proven leadership in logistics/warehousing
  • Physical fitness to handle cartons up to 15kg
  • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 and/or possession of a forklift truck license advantageous
  • Great relationship management that delivers results through effective teamwork
  • You'll help build a highly engaged team – ensuring a collaborative culture and providing guidance & support to other team members
  • You will bring the outside-in; you'll share best practice across the team/business and encourage ideas sharing as well as collaborative problem solving
  • You'll lead the way and role model on all things DE&I & wellbeing.
