Customs Admin

Customs Admin Responsibilities:

  • Customs Documentation & Compliance:

  • Prepare and submit customs documentation (import/export declarations, bills of lading, commercial invoices, etc.) for the clearance of shipments.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs laws, tariffs, and international trade regulations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customs-related activities.

  • Coordination with Brokers and Agencies:

  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery of goods.

  • Provide necessary information for product classification, valuation, and origin documentation to customs authorities.

  • Tariff Classification & Duty Calculation:

  • Classify goods according to tariff coding systems and ensure the correct duties, taxes, and tariffs are applied.

  • Monitor and manage duty payments, ensuring that they are paid on time to avoid delays or penalties.

  • Import/Export Control:

  • Ensure compliance with export control regulations, including sanctions and embargoes.

  • Manage applications for import/export licenses where required.

  • Ensure proper documentation for restricted or controlled goods.
