Transport Compliance Coordinator required! My client is a transport, logistics, container, and warehouse specialist, providing their customers with end-to-end logistics solutions. Due to company growth, they are looking for a transport compliance coordinator with strong knowledge of drivers' hours and health and safety to join their team.
Transport Compliance Coordinator - Responsibilities
- Management of drivers' hours.
- Conduct regular inspections of the fleet, ensuring they meet safety standards and recording any defects.
- Keep up to date with changes in transportation laws and regulations and communicate these changes to the relevant departments.
- Ensuring all vehicles are loaded safely.
- Assisting with managing, motivating, engaging, and developing the Transport team as required.
- Undertaking Health and Safety duties.
- Support the transport manager with KPIs.
Transport Compliance Coordinator - Requirements
- Experience of driver compliance, tacho data and driver working hours regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Organisational and communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of Transport planning and route scheduling.
- IT skills - experience in compliance systems and Excel is desirable.
Remuneration
- Monday-Friday
- Salary - £30,000 - £35,000
