As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and motivated Freight Forwarder or skilled logistics professional to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Freight Forwarder, you will play a crucial role in managing the transportation of goods for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and arranging shipments, both import and export, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all relevant regulations and requirements.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and carriers to facilitate smooth and efficient transportation processes.
  • Preparing and reviewing shipping documentation, including customs paperwork, permits, and other necessary documentation.
  • Tracking shipments and providing regular updates to clients on the status of their goods.
  • Addressing any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process and finding effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with various departments within the company to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve service
  • quality.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Freight Forwarder or in a similar logistics role is essential.
  • Solid understanding of import and export regulations and procedures.
  • Proficient in handling shipping documentation and customs clearance processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, suppliers, and team members.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple shipments and resolve challenges proactively.
  • Knowledge of various transportation modes (air, sea, road, etc.) and their respective requirements is preferred.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in the logistics industry.
