This part-time Accounts Payable role is an integral part of the Accounting & Finance team, responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function within an industrial / manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in operations.

Description

  • Manage the accounts payable function and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare and process invoices, and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team and other departments to ensure efficiency in operations.
  • Handle vendor queries and build strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit documents.
  • Contribute to team efforts in achieving departmental and company goals.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable should have:

  • 3+ years experience in a AP position
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
