This part-time Accounts Payable role is an integral part of the Accounting & Finance team, responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function within an industrial / manufacturing setting. Description
- Manage the accounts payable function and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and process invoices, and reconcile vendor statements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team and other departments to ensure efficiency in operations.
- Handle vendor queries and build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit documents.
- Contribute to team efforts in achieving departmental and company goals.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable should have:
- 3+ years experience in a AP position
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
