Join The West Group as a Project Quality Engineer.
Role Overview
As a Project Quality Engineer, you will:
- Act as an ambassador for the company, promoting a positive image internally and externally, demonstrating support for our strategic direction.
- Work with the Quality and Regulatory Manager on Quality Projects, including but not limited to QMS Projects, Supplier reviews and Engineering Projects.
- Work closely with customers when non-conformances are raised to ensure the issue is understood, drive cross-functional investigation using recognised problem-solving methodology such as 8D/5Y/Ishikawa and provide containment, corrective and preventative actions in a timely manner.
- Investigate quality-related issues occurring internally and by the customer by identifying the root cause and implementing acceptable corrective actions (8Ds).
- Develop and implement Master Validation Plans & Quality Control Plans on selected new products.
- Review process capability using SPC techniques.
- Run Gage R&R activities when required.

Essential Skills
- HNC equivalent or higher in relevant engineering (Mechanical, Quality, etc.)
- Knowledge of ISO13485 and experience with medical devices
- Knowledge of SPC techniques and experience in Gage R&R
- Preferably, Green Belt trained
- Internal auditor experience
