We have partnered with a market leading Lloyd's/London market business in the search for a Portfolio Manager to drive profitability. This is a great opportunity to work within and Underwriting function and closely with senior management to promote performance. The role includes but is not limited to:
- Working in a central function and reporting into Underwriting.
- Provide insights, solutions and improvements across a wide range of business using data analysis and visualisation.
- Be heavily involved with the implementation of active portfolio management.
- Actively monitor key drivers of performance at both a class level and across the business as a whole.
- Support the wider business when it comes to business planning and strategy.
- Work closely with underwriters, training them on portfolio management and ensure performance is strong.
- Covering a variety of specialty risks.
This is an ideal role for a pricing actuary looking to step up into a more forward-facing and influential role.
Minimum Requirements:
- GI Actuarial / Underwriting experience
