PE teacher - September - Bury
Prospero Teaching are wanting to recruit a temporary teacher of PE for a secondary school in Bury, North Manchester to join their team from September until July,to cover for a staff member who is going on maternity leave. You will be required to teach classes across key stage 3 and key stage 4.
The role is a full time, and will be for the whole of the 24/25 academic year. It is essential that you have a valid and recognised teaching qualification & that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching PE to secondary school aged students. It would be advantageous if you have experience coaching a rounders or netball team, bu not essential.
The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.

Minimum rate of pay GBP153 per day
Hours 8:30 am 4pm, plus parents evenings and departmental meetings as required
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS or equivalent
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
