We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be certified and experienced in operating a variety of forklifts, including Counterbalance, Reach, and Bendi. This role is crucial for the efficient handling and movement of goods within our warehouse environment.
Day to day of the role:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods around the warehouse.
- Load and unload deliveries from vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely handling of materials.
- Stack and store goods in designated areas, using forklifts with various attachments.
- Perform daily equipment checks, such as recharging the forklift's battery and lubricating equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse.
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
- Help maintain inventory by properly identifying goods and updating records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid certification for Counterbalance, Reach, and Bendi forklifts.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Excellent physical condition and coordination.
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Good communication skills.
