As an Energy Park Infrastructure Estimator, you will complete on-site surveys to provide accurate cost estimates for potential EV infrastructure projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are financially viable, competitive, and aligned with customer expectations, and will help the business secure profitable contracts that support Energy Park's growth and continued success.

This role is the perfect opportunity for a qualified Electrician looking for their next career move, who is perhaps keen to spend less time in the field conducting a hands-on role, and instead wants to contribute to the strategic direction of a business. Role responsibilities:

  • Perform a technical lead role in the review and completion of information documents and reports for funded sites, and quotes for unfunded sites.
  • Review sites, completing initial cloud-based surveys to capture site requirements with regard electrical and groundwork needs.
  • Provide timely feedback to the Programme Manager to support efficient decision-making processes.
  • As and when required perform proof of concept installations for customers.
  • Deputise for the Programme Manager when needed, to liaise with leadership team regarding operation concerns, costs and time scales.
  • Take an active role in project and design team meetings and the coordination process.
  • Quality assurance of designs, costs and submissions with the sales team.
  • Produce job costing reports based on site surveys.

Experience/qualifications required:

  • Qualified Electrician.
  • Strong commercial experience, preferably within the EV sector.
  • Strong market knowledge and experience within the electrical distribution sector.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel across the UK.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with competing deadlines.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with operational and sales teams.
  • Confident with IT, ability to use cloud-based applications to capture site requirements.
  • Proven experience of working on-site with customers and key contacts, building professional, effective working relationships. Comfortable presenting information and data to senior leadership.

This role is also subject to a satisfactory DBS check.

You may currently be working as an Electrician, EV Estimator, EV Surveyor or EV Quantity Surveyor.
