Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
- Act as a strategic partner to the plant management team
- Oversee all corporate and internal financial reporting
- Manage the month-end processes, including variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage key financial KPIs
- Conduct SOX testing reviews, maintain strong internal controls, and ensure audit compliance
- Collaborate with external auditors on year-end and interim audit work
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls
Key Essentials of the Financial Controller:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience with internal audits and SOX compliance
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure
