Assembly & Test Supervisor

Salary - £32,000 and £35,000 per annum + Benefits
We are seeking an Assembly & Test Supervisor to join our team in Cross Hills. This is an on-site based role.
The key responsibilities are:
- Manage the workload and staffing requirements to ensure maximum efficiency within the department.
- Issue work instructions to team members and ensure work is carried out in a timely manner, troubleshooting where necessary.
- Ensure timely delivery of product to inspection and dispatch functions.
- Become a proactive member of the Health and Safety Committee.
- Build valves according to drawing, ensuring all parts have heat numbers.
- Operate test rigs to test valves following requirements detailed on works order. Completing documentation relating to tests and entering information on to computer.
- Support and mentor apprentices.
- Enhance and improve upon existing techniques.
What we are offering:
- Remuneration package between £32,000 and £35,000 per annum
- Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including bank holidays.
- Pension Scheme: 8% Combined contribution (4% matched).
- Working Hours: 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, with a flexible start time and an early finish on Friday. This is a full time site based role.

About you: Our ideal candidate will have:
- Apprentice trained with a solid background in fitting or mechanical maintenance.
- Valve experience preferred but not essential.
- Great team player with good communication skills across different levels and disciplines of the business.
- Excellent attention to detail with a flexible and a self-motivated proactive approach to work.
- Good understanding of ISO9001:2015 compliance.
All postholders must pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), essentially no unspent criminal convictions, permanent UK residential address and be a British citizen.
