Talent Acquisition Partner

We are currently working in partnership with a higher educational institution based in North London, who are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Partner on a fixed term contract of 9 months. The position is due start immediately (subject to notice period). The annual salary for this role is £40,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have used the HR system WorkDay previously and have experience managing and developing Talent Acquisition services. Overall, as the Talent Acquisition Partner the candidate will ensure a great candidate experience that's in line with the organisations brand and that is supportive to the hiring managers

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing the end to end talent acquisition process from defining role requirements to onboarding ensuring a great hiring manager and candidate experience
  • Issuing contracts of employment along with employment checks meeting UKVI obligations, payroll set up and on boarding of new starters
  • Ensuring compliance with UKVI and safeguarding requirements in accordance with government regulations, developing and updating processes and guiding on these matters when needed
  • Training and coaching colleagues and managers in resourcing as well developing the training material
  • Developing and updating resourcing related policies, procedures, processes and candidate training material
  • Undertaking market research into levels of pay and effective resourcing solutions to optimise market research in attracting a high calibre and diverse candidates

Experience required:

  • Significant experience of managing an in-house talent acquisition service
  • Standalone talent acquisition experience in a small or medium company

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Ability to keep confidential records and employee information
  • Expertise in taking full ownership of employee/customer queries and see them through to completion
  • A team player, able to work collaboratively with the HR Team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders and colleagues

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
