Due to company growth, our Whyteleafe based client are looking to hire a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join the expanding Finance Team.
Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday,9am - 5pm

You will be an integral part of this family-run business, who are a multidiscipline building services contractor, operating across London and the surrounding areas. Reporting to the Head of Accounts, you will be responsible for purchase ledgers across all companies. Your duties will include:
- Maintaining supplier databases with contact details and terms
- Checking received invoices (e.g. are made out to correct company)
- Inputting invoices
- Managing invoice approval process
- Reconciling statements
- Liaising with suppliers on disputed/queried invoices
- Reporting on due payments and liaising with MD regarding payment dates
- Reporting to head of finance re cash flow
- Setting up supplier payments on bank, posting to sage and sending remittances
- Liaising with suppliers re payments due
- Collating proformas for payment
- Collating and processing payment for certificates issued
Do you have the required skills and experience?
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of CIS
- Knowledge of VAT, including reverse charge
- Sage 50 desirable
- Experience of Eque2 and Autoentry software desirable but not essential
