QSW - Community Team - People with Learning Disabilities

Our Client Ealing Council is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a Learning Disabilities Team with a social work qualification.
  • The candidate should have an understanding of Adult Social Work legislation.
  • A good standard of completing assessments such as Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments.
  • Be familiar with the safeguarding procedure and have acted as a enquiry officer or SAM.
  • Have experience of working with other agencies and providers.
  • Have an understanding of using a strength based approach within there social work practice.
  • Can jointly work with Learning Disabilities Health Team.
  • Attending and completing reviews and support plans.
  • Desirable but not essential using Mosaic.
  • Making good use of supervision.
  • Understanding of Direct Payments.
  • To undertake duty once per week and other times when required.

What you need:

  • QSW Status - including qualification, Social Work England registration and completed ASYE
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Right to work in the UK
