The successful Quality Systems Supervisor working in the feed industry it would be beneficial for applicants to have experience in this field.
The role will involve:
- Acting as the co-ordinator between SPF UK and Symrise quality teams.
- Ensuring SPF and Symrise requirements are fulfilled and incorporated within the SPF UK quality management system and SOP's.
- Participate in supplier qualification and evaluation.
- Ensuring production is undertaken in accordance with quality requirements.
- Checking the raw material and spot checks on ingredient/s deliveries, along with the completion of ABPR sheets.
- Arrange and complete internal factory calibrations, scales, moisture and PH levels.
- Arrange for samples and swabs to be sent for correct testing (often in designated timeframes based on shelf life).
- NIR (Near Infared Spectroscopy) and chemistry testing to be completed.
To be successful in this role of Quality Systems Supervisor we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
- Educated to a good level.
- Knowledge of HACCP systems, auditing processes/documentation/reports, legal requirements, traceability systems and audit trails.
- Experience working in the feed industry within a quality/technical role would be advantageous.
- Have excellent communication skills and able to converse at all levels .
- Be proactive and organised - able to prioritise workload, achieving designated timeframes/deadlines for work being completed.
