Welder (TIG with some MIG)

We are seeking a skilled Welder, primarily experienced in TIG welding with some MIG, to join our production team. This role is integral to our operations, providing essential metalwork and assembly for products within Nurse call and Custodial solutions. The ideal candidate will be a flexible and reliable team player, committed to delivering high-quality output as part of our British manufacturing heritage.
Day to Day of the role:
- Perform various roles within metalwork and final assembly to support factory requirements.
- Operate across several workstations including machine operations, grinding, linishing, studding, paint preparation, powder coating, and final assembly of metalwork.
- Ensure tasks are completed to the required output and quality standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility, capability, and willingness to support production operations as needed.
- Work effectively as part of a small team to achieve factory output goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in TIG welding, with some MIG welding experience.
- High level of manual dexterity and ability to follow production drawings.
- Positive ‘Can do' attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience in a production environment and familiarity with metalwork processes.
- Stable employment history.
- Ability to use an AMADA press and/or Finn Power machine is advantageous.
