Day to day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils and adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring developmental records are kept up to date.
- Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages play, exploration, and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open lines of communication.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate activities that support children's holistic development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
- Experience in an early years setting, preferably as a Reception Teacher.
- A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
- A caring and patient approach with excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and the well-being of all children.
