We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our team at a lovely new school. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is committed to nurturing the growth and development of our youngest learners.

Day to day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils and adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring developmental records are kept up to date.
  • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages play, exploration, and learning.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate activities that support children's holistic development.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
  • Experience in an early years setting, preferably as a Reception Teacher.
  • A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
  • A caring and patient approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and the well-being of all children.
